All of our wood windows are CSA approved and built using only the best kiln dried clear wood, which adds to the quality of any home.
We build all types of windows including fixed, casement, awning, vertical, specialty and bay. We have the flexibility to build whatever size and style of window you require.
1. Roto Gear
The famous 'Truth' cam action lever lock holds a window open in any five positions, and with a simple detach clip, the window can easily be cleaned. (Roto gear and cam handles available on request.)
2. Hinges
'Truth' concealed casement hinges provide tamper resistant exterior sight lines to the window.
3. Weather Strip
Schlegel Q-Lon is a long-lasting, superior weather seal. It is stabilized to resist ultraviolet deterioration, and will not rot, mold, mildew, corrode, or change colour due to oxidation. It is sound absorbent and increases the acoustal properties of windows up to 35%. Q-Lon weather seals are also ensured to be environmentally friendly (CFC free).
4. Jamb
Constructed of a one piece 1 3/8" Rabbet Jamb, with the outside joints sealed and secured giving it exceptional strength and rigidness.
5. Sash
All sash joints are mitered and finger joint using waterproof glue and nails giving maximum strength, thus maintaining proper alignment. The sash can also be easily removed from the frame.
6. Glazing
Windows are double glazed glass with a half-inch air space. These units are energy efficient and CMHC approved.
